Iridium Throne

The Iridium Throne is a eugenicist theocratic state, primarily based on Thahan Station. For all of its recorded history, it has been led by a cloned duplicate of Varuk Mai, a pioneer of gene therapy and brain mapping. By its Constitution, and clerical fiat, Varuk's genome is deemed "objectively perfect".
In ZY 3098, questions of Varuk Mai MMVC's fitness to hold office triggered the Pentarchate Succession Crisis.
