The Iron Rills

The Iron Rills are a mountainous region in the eastern region of Omnia. It contains the highest point in Omnia, the mountain of Eirunand. The area is divided between its western range, which is practically impassable, the hills, which are largely uninhabited, and the rills, which come together to form the various river valleys in the area.

The region gains its name from the vast quantities of iron and other metals that are found in the area. Although most mineral wealth is found in the many mines that dot the landscape, the idea of a land where metals flow like water has attracted many ironpanners from around Omnia.

Most of the area is part of the state of the Rills Confederacy, with the exception of the southernmost valley, which is a part of Horre.
