Victoria Venderberg is a smuggler and secret agent from the city of Comer.

Early life

Victoria Venderberg was born in 251 AG to a dockhand in Plankytown. She was born with the name Victoria Deleran, a mark of her elvish background. A year into her life, she was orphaned during the Sack of Comer.

She then spent her early childhood as a ward of The Olive Branch, an orphanage in the merchant district of Comer. During this time she became a child pickpocket to develop an income for herself. According to Cyrrin, she made a drunken boast that at seven years old, she took a coin purse from King Faldonne Loxelain during his own coronation.

This child prodigy was noticed by the smuggler turned merchant Charm Dimeshore. Rather than take her under his wing directly, he set her up as an apprentice to his rival merchant, Jacques Darnielle. She was to serve him as a page, but report any information about his dealings to Dimeshore. This proved a challenge to her, since she was (and still is) illiterate. However, the task of memorizing long documents led her to develop an elephant-like memory.
