In My Mouth On Your Gizzard
“In My Mouth, On Your Gizzard” is an erotic synesthetic opera composed by Aegypiinaen author Gala Epimelios in ZY 2796-2810. It uses the traditional recursive structure of an Audiaroma to tell the journey of a fledgling sturnidite being seduced, and ultimately consumed by a telepathic Archtyto.
Though received poorly by its home system, where it was almost unanimously dismissed as pablum by general audiences, and heavily criticized for its rudimentary satire by the few critics who took notice of it, “In My Mouth, On Your Gizzard” found unprecedented success with Thahan Station, and the settled colonies of the Iridium Throne.
Downloaded over 2 billion times and translated into all three of their core dialects, and all five of their recognized scent pallets (unusual even for state-produced fiction), “In My Mouth, On Your Gizzard" is considered the fifth most experienced work of media in Thahanese history.

Reception
The Iridium Throne's official records account for the opera's popularity by framing the narrative as a cautionary story about the limits of the genetically weak. However, many cultural investigations lead by scholars at Ithica Iniversity have posited that the invested Thahanese listener enjoys the opera genuinely. The non-consensual events allow them to guiltlessly experience exotic sensations and scenarios that would be criminal to desire. The domineering character of the Archtyto - intended as parody of the ancient genre staple - is appealing to the Thahanese taste, as he embodies in text what was always subtext in their religious scriptures.
Impact
“In My Mouth, On Your Gizzard" has been cited as an important battle ground in the Thahanese culture wars during the late 3rd millenium ZY. The opera’s characterizations of a totalitarian conqueror in romance is credited by some as an early template for the Neo-Platinumous Theory of Ideal Form, which reassessed the objective qualities of perfection.
